CRN Recognizes Lenovo Executives For Inclusivity Excellence

Three Lenovo executives have been honored by CRN for building an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.

In its second annual Inclusive Channel Leaders list, CRN® named three Lenovo executives who lead by example and drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) across the organization. This accolade highlights Lenovo's ongoing commitment to building a workforce as diverse as the communities it serves and sheds light on the company's broader commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.

The CRN list recognizes executives from vendor, distributor, and solution provider organizations dedicated to positively impacting the IT channel through inclusive leadership. Lenovo is thrilled to add a third outstanding leader to this year’s list, and we thank them for all they do to strengthen Lenovo’s culture of inclusion and belonging.

Lenovo's proactive approach to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace environment aligns seamlessly with its overarching ESG goals, which aim to drive positive social impact while championing sustainability and ethical business practices. By receiving the CRN Inclusive Channel Leaders award, these remarkable executives are recognized for playing pivotal roles in shaping their company's culture and their holistic approach to corporate responsibility.

Rob Cato, Vice President, North America Channel, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for inclusive leadership to his role. Over the last year, he’s been significantly involved with Women of the Channel to foster inclusion within Lenovo and with their channel partners. He also serves as the executive sponsor of Lenovo’s Allyship initiative as part of their Women in Lenovo Leadership resource group.

Cassie Jeppson, Director, North America Channel Programs, has been instrumental in creating a workplace that embraces diversity and ensures Lenovo is an inclusive environment for all employees. Recognizing the need to attract and retain diverse talent earlier in the pipeline, her tireless advocacy for diversity initiatives at the hiring stage has helped create an eclectic group that is collaborative, representative, and engaging.

Jennifer Whaley, North America Director, Partner Enablement, is a driving force behind Lenovo's ESG commitments. With a keen focus on diversity and inclusion, Jennifer chairs the Allyship interest group, where she works with other ERG leaders in their continued effort to create a safer space where everyone feels welcome at work.

As Lenovo continues to set new benchmarks for innovating for a diverse world, the company's recognition in the CRN 2024 Inclusive Channel Leaders awards is a testament to its enduring ability to drive positive change.
