Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and NVIDIA, the juggernaut in graphics processing, made waves at NVIDIA GTC by announcing their latest hybrid AI solutions. This collaboration aims to democratize AI, ensuring its accessibility across enterprise and cloud infrastructure.

These hybrid solutions effectively enable AI to link with customer data where and when users need it the most—from the pocket to the cloud—providing support for breakthrough architecture, enabling massive-scale generative AI from edge-to-cloud. This effort accelerates AI implementation, fostering innovation, digitalization, and growth across industries.

Lenovo ThinkSystem AI Servers Powered by NVIDIA

At the heart of Lenovo's new offerings is the expansion of the Lenovo ThinkSystem AI portfolio featuring two new powerful 8-way NVIDIA GPU systems specifically designed for maximum power efficiency. These systems enhance AI capabilities, particularly in natural language processing (NLP) and large language model (LLM) development, driving further expansion in AI.

Powered by NVIDIA HGX AI supercomputing and advanced networking platforms, these servers deliver exceptional performance for demanding AI, data analytics, and HPC workloads. Lenovo Neptune™ liquid cooling technology ensures maximum performance, reducing power consumption by up to 40 percent and improving thermal efficiencies by 3.5x compared to traditional air-cooled systems.

Co-designed NVIDIA MGX Solutions

In addition to server solutions, Lenovo is building accelerated models faster using NVIDIA MGX modular reference designs catering to cloud service providers’ AI needs both economically and at scale. The lineup includes the Lenovo HG630N, HG650N, HG660X V3, and HR650N, each catering to specific needs, from open-standard servers to highly modular, GPU-optimized systems.

New Lenovo ThinkStation Workstations with NVIDIA RTX significantly enhance AI developer productivity through automated workflows. These include new data science workstations with NVIDIA AI Workbench, making generative AI and machine learning development easy for all developers. Lenovo also introduces ThinkStation and ThinkPad workstations featuring the latest NVIDIA A800 GPU for personal data science and generative AI environments.
